Recipient of the 2010 Jackson's Young Citizens Award

When planning her 8th birthday party, Madison Costa, wasn’t dreaming of the hottest new toy, but of a birthday gift that would touch the hearts and lives of many both here and abroad.

In lieu of birthday gifts, Madison asked for donations to aid in relief efforts for the Earthquake victims in Haiti. Her self-motivated mission coupled with the matching generosity shown by her friends, family, and school (Rocky Mount Academy) raised $800 in donations for Haiti.

Throughout the years, Jackson has witnessed Madison’s kindness and awareness for animals and humans alike and is continually amazed, as she has grown into an active global citizen.

Jackson is proud to announce Madison Costa as the 2010 recipient of the Jackson’s Young Citizens Award.
